Rediscover a unique flavor in this recipe for chocolate and orange energy balls that are so simple to prepare and delicious! They were developed for our culinary demo at the Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert in Quebec in April 2024 with SETA. Energy balls are practical and easily adapt to the smallest and largest appetites. As a morning or afternoon snack or as a sweet treat for dessert. At Avoine Cuisine, we always have a few in the freezer!
Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cup
- quick-cooking oatmeal
- 120 g
- 1 cup
- pitted Medjool dates (about 8 dates)
- 130 g
- 1/4 cup
- hemp seeds
- 40 g
- 1/2 cup
- SETA Choco Orange smoothie mix
- 64 g
- 1/3 cup
- vegetable milk of your choice
- 75 ml
- 2 tbsp.
- mini chocolate chips
- 30 g
Directions
- Step 1
- In a food processor, puree all the ingredients, except the mini chocolate chips, until smooth.
- Step 2
- Add the mini chocolate chips and pulse a few times to combine them without breaking them.
- Step 3
- Scoop out a tablespoon of mixture at a time to form 24 balls with your hands.
Tips
Can be stored in the freezer for several weeks; simply take out the desired portion about ten minutes before eating.
