If you’re looking for a hearty breakfast, this protein-packed chia pudding is for you!
Boasting 21 g of protein and 14 g of fibre, it’s quick and easy to make. Simply place all the ingredients in a container and mix. Place in the fridge for a few hours, then enjoy! It’s a great on-the-go breakfast for those busy mornings.
Chia is a great ingredient to discover (or to rediscover). It’s nourishing, easy to prepare, and packed with soluble fibre that allows it to absorb 10x its weight in water! It has a pleasant, crunchy texture that makes it irresistible! It also contains protein, and pairs perfectly with milk (or soy milk) and Greek yogurt.
It’s so good it’s like having dessert for breakfast!

Keeps in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Ingredients
250 ml (1 cup) dairy milk or fortified soy milk
60 ml (1/4 cup) organic plain Greek yogurt
60 ml (1/4 cup) white or black chia seeds
15 ml (1 tbsp.) store-bought orange marmalade (or any jam of your choice)
2.5 ml (1/2 tsp.) organic ginger, washed and grated
- In a Mason jar, stir together all the ingredients. Place in the fridge overnight.
- Before serving, top with a spoonful of organic marmalade and a sprinkling of grated ginger.
NOTE: Did you know that orange and ginger are a winning combo? The citrus notes of fresh ginger are a natural flavour enhancer when combined with quality organic marmalade. A great way to put a bit of sunshine on your plate!
