Directions
- Step 1
- Soak oats in a saucepan of water at room temperature overnight or for about 6 to 8 hours. In the morning, rinse and return to saucepan.
- Step 2
- Add water and almond beverage and bring to a boil.
- Step 3
- Add carrots and spices and let simmer over medium-low heat for about 15 minutes, until oats are tender. Add some almond beverage as needed if mixture becomes too dry.
- Step 4
- Remove from heat and add walnuts and maple syrup. Top with a touch of almond butter.
