Description

COCO-LAVENDER LEMONADE

Ingredients

For the lavender syrup
1/4 cup
sugar
1/4 cup
water
1/2 tsp.
dried lavender flowers
For the lemonade
1 cup
lemon juice (about 6 pressed lemons)
1 cup
sugar
3 cups
coconut water
2 cups
water
Ice cubes
A few slices of lemon and dried lavender stems to decorate (optional)

Directions

Step 1
Lavender syrup: Combine all the ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 to 5 minutes, or until the liquid turns syrupy. Remove from heat and infuse 20 minutes. Next, strain the syrup through a sieve to filter out the lavender flowers.
Step 2
In a pitcher, pour the lemon juice, sugar, coconut water, and water. Add the lavender syrup and stir.
Step 3
Pour into 4 glasses filled with ice cubes. Decorate with lavender stems and lemon slices.
