Description
COCO-LAVENDER LEMONADE
Ingredients
- For the lavender syrup
- 1/4 cup
- sugar
- 1/4 cup
- water
- 1/2 tsp.
- dried lavender flowers
- For the lemonade
- 1 cup
- lemon juice (about 6 pressed lemons)
- 1 cup
- sugar
- 3 cups
- coconut water
- 2 cups
- water
- Ice cubes
- A few slices of lemon and dried lavender stems to decorate (optional)
Directions
- Step 1
- Lavender syrup: Combine all the ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 to 5 minutes, or until the liquid turns syrupy. Remove from heat and infuse 20 minutes. Next, strain the syrup through a sieve to filter out the lavender flowers.
- Step 2
- In a pitcher, pour the lemon juice, sugar, coconut water, and water. Add the lavender syrup and stir.
- Step 3
- Pour into 4 glasses filled with ice cubes. Decorate with lavender stems and lemon slices.
