Gingerbread Chai Latte

Ingredients

1 cup
water
250 ml
½ cup
maple syrup
125 ml
1 tablespoon
molasses
15 ml
1 tablespoon
vanilla extract
15 ml
1 tablespoon
ground ginger
15 ml
1 tablespoon
ground cinnamon
15 ml
½ tsp.
ground nutmeg
2.5 ml
¼ tsp.
ground cloves
1.25 ml
1 pinch
salt
1 scoop

Directions

Step 1
In a saucepan, bring all ingredients except the SETA chai latte to the boil and stir until smooth.
Step 2
Reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
Step 3
Remove from heat and allow to cool before pouring into a glass container for storage.
Step 4
Then follow the directions on the SETA chai latte bag and add the amount of syrup you like.

Tips

This chai latte is just as good hot as cold! Want to make your drink even more gourmet? Add whipped cream as a garnish! Store the syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
