Ingredients
- 1 cup
- water
- 250 ml
- ½ cup
- maple syrup
- 125 ml
- 1 tablespoon
- molasses
- 15 ml
- 1 tablespoon
- vanilla extract
- 15 ml
- 1 tablespoon
- ground ginger
- 15 ml
- 1 tablespoon
- ground cinnamon
- 15 ml
- ½ tsp.
- ground nutmeg
- 2.5 ml
- ¼ tsp.
- ground cloves
- 1.25 ml
- 1 pinch
- salt
- 1 scoop
- SETA chai latte
Directions
- Step 1
- In a saucepan, bring all ingredients except the SETA chai latte to the boil and stir until smooth.
- Step 2
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
- Step 3
- Remove from heat and allow to cool before pouring into a glass container for storage.
- Step 4
- Then follow the directions on the SETA chai latte bag and add the amount of syrup you like.
Tips
This chai latte is just as good hot as cold! Want to make your drink even more gourmet? Add whipped cream as a garnish! Store the syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
