Ingredients
- Room-temperature butter or oil
- ½ cup
- cold butter, chopped into small pieces
- 1 ¼ cups
- all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup
- brown sugar
- 1 tsp.
- cinnamon
- 1 ½ tsp.
- vanilla extract
- 1
- jar Rescapés apple pie spread
- 250 ml
Directions
- Step 1
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Step 2
- Grease or butter 12 muffin moulds. Set aside.
- Step 3
- In a bowl, place the cold butter cubes, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Using a fork, combine the ingredients. Then, using your hands, squeeze the mixture together until the butter forms small clumps. Set aside.

- Place 2 tbsp. of the mixture into each muffin mould. Spread evenly with a spoon. Set the remaining mixture aside. Place 1 tbsp. of the Rescapés apple pie spread in each of the moulds. Top with the remaining crumble mixture.

- Bake on the middle rack for 20 minutes.

- Let cool. Remove the crumble tarts from the moulds using a butter knife. Enjoy!
