Ingredients

cooked quinoa
1 cup
black beans
1 cup chickpeas
250 mL

oat flour
¾ cup
oatmeal
1 ½ cups
raw beets, grated
½ cup
olive oil

onion, finely chopped
1 tsp
paprika
1 tsp
salt
½ tsp
cumin
½ tsp
thyme

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 190 °C (375 °F).
Step 2
In a food processor, mix beans and 125 mL (½ cup) quinoa.
Step 3
In a large bowl, mix the rest of the ingredients by hand and incorporate the quinoa and beans mixture. Shape into individual patties and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, turn them over and bake for another 10 minutes.
