Ingredients

Tomatoes

Watermelon, cubed

Red pepper

Red wine vinegar
1 slice
Country-style bread
To taste

Directions

Step 1
Wash, seed, and dice the tomatoes.
Step 2
Chop the onion, red pepper, and hot pepper.
Step 3
In a mixer or food processor, combine the tomatoes, watermelon, pepper, onion, garlic, hot pepper, basil, olive oil, red wine vinegar, and bread. Puree until smooth.
Step 4
Strain through a fine sieve to ensure a smooth, creamy texture, if desired.
Step 5
Cool for 2 hours before serving. Serve with a slice of toast and top with fresh basil.
