Traditional Sauerkraut Dish

Ingredients

Canola Oil,
15 ml

onion, chopped
4
fresh sausages or vegan sausages
28 oz.
store-bought sauerkraut
796 ml
1 cup
white wine
250 ml

potatoes, previously boiled
To taste, salt and pepper

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 180˚C (350˚F).
Step 2
Heat oil in a skillet and fry onion 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 3
Add sausages and brown 3 to 4 minutes. In the meantime, place sauerkraut in an ovenproof dish and moisten with white wine.
Step 4
Lay sausages and onion on sauerkraut and season to taste.
Step 5
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes.
