Ingredients

- Seitan chicken, cut into two slices – The Buddhist Chef
- 200 g
- 4 slices
- Vegetarian bacon – Paradis Végétarien
- 6 slices
- La multigrain de Charlevoix organic loaf – À Chacun Son Pain
- 4 tbsp.
- Vegan butter
- 60 mL
- ⅓ cup
- Avocado oil mayonnaise – Chosen Foods
- 80 mL
- ½
- Avocado, sliced
- 1
- Organic tomato, sliced
- 4 leaves
- Organic lettuce
- To taste
- Salt and ground pepper
Directions
- Step 1
- In a non-stick skillet, brown the seitan chicken slices. Set aside. In the same skillet, cook the vegetarian bacon slices a few minutes on each side until golden brown. Set aside.
- Step 2
- Lightly toast the slices of bread. On a work surface, spread each slice with a little butter and mayonnaise.
- Step 3
- Place a slice of seitan chicken and avocado slices on two slices of toasted bread.
- Step 4
- Top each with a slice of toasted bread for another layer. Add tomato slices, grilled bacon and lettuce leaves. Season with salt and pepper.
- Step 5
- Close each sandwich with a third slice of toasted bread.
- Step 6
- Cut the vegetarian club sandwich in two 😉
Tips
Chef’s secret: If possible, I like to shred the grilled seitan to get a texture more like real chicken.
